The One Piece Card Game is mid-roll through its 4th anniversary year, and the next main booster is shaping up to be a big one for fans who have waited a long time for one specific Straw Hat to finally captain his own deck.
First, where the game stands
Bandai's official Next Plan presentation on June 18, 2026 confirmed the anniversary's momentum: Starter Decks ST31–36 arrived on July 31, and Booster Pack 17, "The World's Strongest Warriors," launched in August themed around the Elbaph Arc and the Four Emperors. The company is also moving toward simultaneous Japanese and English releases, so new sets land for players everywhere around the same time.
OP-18 and the very first Franky Leader
The next numbered set is Booster Pack 18, "The Dominance of God," which Bandai revealed at ONE PIECE DAY '26 in late August. Per fansite coverage of that reveal — not yet a full official product page — the set draws on two sources: the Water Seven arc and the Knights of God (the Holy Knights).
The headline is long overdue: Franky gets his first-ever Leader card. After eighteen sets, the Straw Hats' shipwright finally takes the Leader position, in a green/purple build that puts Stage cards at the heart of the deck — reportedly letting you play low-cost Stages straight from hand. A second Leader for the Holy Knight Saint Gunko is also in the set (a purple/black Leader that can ramp DON!!), giving players a taste of the newer manga material.
Two collectibles are drawing early buzz: a Manga Rare Nico Robin in her Enies Lobby outfit, and a special collaboration with artist Yoshitaka Amano (of Final Fantasy fame), reportedly applied to Loki and Saint Shamrock. Coverage also mentions a brand-new "Knights of God Super Parallel" treatment debuting in this set.
The honest fine print
Here's the part to hold onto: the exact release date is not yet confirmed. Fansite listings point to November 2026, and the official product page hadn't gone live as of this writing — so treat card numbers, power values, and the full card list as unconfirmed until Bandai publishes them. We'll update when the official page drops.
