The Dominance of God [OP-18] brings the Holy Knights and Franky's first Leader on November 20
The One Piece Card Game's biggest set of late 2026 is nearly here. The Dominance of God [OP-18] drops in English on November 20, 2026, with the original Japanese edition following a day later on November 21. Announced at One Piece Day 2026, it is the third major release of a crowded year, and right now it reads like the fan-service set many have been waiting for.
Two big themes, one booster
At its core, OP-18 pulls from two worlds that rarely share a deck list. The first is Water Seven, the shipbuilding city where the Straw Hats squared off against CP9. The second is the Holy Knights of God, the World Government's elite force that has only recently become a major player in the manga, and whose members are debuting in the card game here.
That mix gives OP-18 a split personality, but a happy one. Veterans get fresh Water Seven staples, while the Holy Knights hand collectors a brand-new theme that sits apart from the usual pirate-crew and Marine builds.
Six new leaders, including Franky's long-awaited debut
The headline is Franky. The Straw Hats' shipwright has appeared on One Piece cards for years, but OP-18 gives him his very first Leader card as a green/purple. It's a Water Seven deck built around Stage cards, which is good news for anyone whose older Stages have been gathering dust since their sets rotated out of the spotlight.
Franky is one of six new Leaders in the set. The full lineup crosses every color pairing you can name:
- Karoo (Red/Blue)
- Franky (Green/Purple)
- Luffy (Green)
- Ms. All Sunday (Blue)
- Saint Gunko (Purple/Black)
- Spandam (Black/Yellow)
Two names stand out. Saint Gunko and Saint Shamrock both make their first-ever appearance in the One Piece Card Game. Gunko also picks up the set's Crew-rarity card, with none other than Imu lurking behind her in the art, so expect that one to jump off the shelf for collectors.
A first for the franchise: Yoshitaka Amano
If you follow art over gameplay, here's the biggest line in this article. Yoshitaka Amano, the Final Fantasy legend whose work graced the series' early titles, has contributed illustrations to OP-18. His unmistakable style lands on two cards: Loki, a new Secret Rare variant, and Saint Shamrock at number OP18-119. It's Amano's first work on the One Piece Card Game, and it alone makes the chase cards worth watching.
There's also a new Manga rare: Nico Robin. Her card features iconic scenes from her Enies Lobby storyline, which pairs nicely with the Water Seven theme. Her effect stiffens your board against removal and lets you stand up a Water Seven card and a DON!! at end of turn, so competitive green players have real reason to be excited, not just collectors.
When and how to pick it up
The English booster is $4.99 per pack with 12 cards, 24 packs to a box, the same format OP-17 used. Japanese boxes hold six cards per pack, so if you're chasing Amano alt-arts, budget accordingly. The full card list runs 127 types plus the DON!! card.
One practical note: cards become tournament legal seven days after release. That puts OP-18 at the center of regional events through late November and into December, which is worth keeping in mind if you're still deciding whether to buy on launch day or hold out.
Between Franky's first Leader, the Holy Knights' debut, and Amano's first One Piece art, OP-18 has the rare combination of news that matters for players and collectors alike. Mark the 20th down.
