Bandai has quietly filled out the opening months of 2027 for the One Piece Card Game. Three boosters now sit on the official site with confirmed dates: an East Blue retrospective, an Egghead main set, and a brand-new product line that wants to be its own kind of unboxing.
The headline: a new "Premium Extra Booster"
The biggest news is PEB-01, which doesn't fit neatly into the booster categories you already know. Bandai calls it the first release in a new Premium Extra Booster series — slotted apart from both the standard OP boosters and the existing Premium Boosters.
What makes it different: every card is foil. Everything. "An all-holo premium pack," as the official copy puts it, built around "The Drawing of Your Dreams." That name is a nod to a popular column in ONE PIECE Magazine, where Eiichiro Oda sketches a single character; much of the set reprints artwork from that series, including pieces collectors have only seen on a couple of cards so far.
It's also a big, expensive pack by One Piece standards. In the international release that means 16 cards per pack — the most in the entire game — at a $7.99 MSRP, with 12 packs to a display. Japan gets a slimmer 8-card pack for 440 yen, so the two regions genuinely differ in how the set opens. Expect 88 plus 30 secret card types, and cards legal for tournament play seven days after release in your region.
The set matters for players, not just collectors. Bandai is using it to debut new Leaders and a brand-new theme, in addition to sought-after reprints and a run of DON!! cards styled around popular characters. The pitch is that older-deck mains get fresh tools while new players gain a path into competitive play without combing years of backlog.
Mark April 23, 2027 for the international release.
Before that: East Blue
Earlier in the year, Extra Booster 06 East Blue heads back to the sea where the story began. The sixth Extra Booster is a nostalgia trip through the early saga — many of the beloved characters of that first stretch, usable tools to power up a variety of existing decks rather than a whole new archetype.
It lands January 29, 2027 (Japan ships on the 30th), at $4.99 a pack with 6 cards each and 67 main card types. If you came for Luffy's early crew, the Marines hunting them, or Baroque Works at its pre-Crocodile mess, this is the set waiting for you.
And then Egghead
A month further out, Booster 19 Come In, World turns to the Egghead arc and Dr. Vegapunk. "What will the genius scientist Vegapunk reveal...? Respond, world!" is the official hook, and the set covers the island's lab-coat puzzles and the Straw Hats' scramble there — 126 card types in total.
Pre-release events run February 26, 2027, ahead of the March 5 release, at $4.99 a pack. Extra Boosters are the lightweight option, but this is the main-line set that drives the meta through spring.
What to do with all of it
Three sets in about ten weeks is a busy run, and budgets will feel it. My quick read: if you want the collect-and-chase experience, PEB-01 is the one to watch — all-foil packs of Oda artwork should move fast and disappear online. If you mainly play, EB-06 East Blue is the cheapest way to strengthen what you already run, and OP-19 decides what the competitive environment looks like going into summer.
Cards, dates, and prices are all taken from Bandai's official product pages and confirmed as of this writing. Regional release dates and pack contents differ, so check your local official page before you pre-order. excerpt: "Bandai unveiled East Blue, Egghead, and an all-foil Premium Extra Booster for One Piece in early 2027.
