My Hero Academia Makes Its English UNION ARENA Debut in December 2026

October 08, 2026

Fans have been waiting a long time for this one. My Hero Academia is finally joining UNION ARENA in English, and Bandai has confirmed exactly when: the UNION ARENA SPECIAL BOOSTER PACK My Hero Academia [UE25BT] arrives December 11, 2026 in the US and Canada.

For anyone new to the game: UNION ARENA is Bandai's crossover card battle where every product is built around one licensed anime, manga, or game series. Up, Down, and sideways — different franchises coexist under one rule set, which means you can pretty much build the crossover throwdown you've always imagined. The release event runs December 11–17, 2026, so there's a full pre- and launch week to grab the set.

Here's what's in the box. Each pack has 12 cards, and a display box holds 16 packs. That's a meatier pull rate than many standard boosters in the game, and it's worth noting alt-art cards are included in this product, with random contents sealed per pack. Cards are tournament legal from the pre-release date in your region.

Now, the part MHA fans will really want to know — the actual card lineup. As of the announced schedule, the set includes three new-text promo cards that have been distributed in Japan since spring of 2026, plus eleven new-text cards pulled from a December 2026 card set product. Because this is a special booster pack built around already-printed material rather than a fresh wave of brand-new designs, it's positioned as a smart way for English-speaking players to get their hands on sought-after MHA cards without waiting out a full booster cycle.

Here's the important framing worth repeating: My Hero Academia has been playable in UNION ARENA in Japan for a long time already. The series has been a fixture of the Japanese game through multiple booster releases. What's genuinely new here is that this marks the property's official English-language debut in the game — the first time North American players can build and run MHA decks with native-English cards.

That's a real milestone. For years, if you wanted MHA in UNION ARENA, you had to import Japanese product and track down translations yourself. The UE25BT set changes the equation by putting the series squarely in the hands of the English-speaking community.

As with anything current-set-specific, treat the details above as accurate at the time of writing, and expect official pages to update as the December window approaches.
