Gundam Card Game's Stardust Trails [GD06] Brings ZZ and 0083 to the Fight on October 30

October 17, 2026

Stardust Trails [GD06] had its big week. The full card list and an updated FAQ went up on the official Gundam Card Game website on October 16, and the booster itself lands in the US, UK, and Europe on October 30, with Japan and participating Asian markets following on October 31.

It is the first Gundam Card Game set to feature Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ and Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory — two series that have never appeared in the game before — and the timing is deliberate. ZZ turns 40 this year, 0083 hits 35, and Bandai leaned into both anniversaries. Even the set name is a nod to Stardust Memory.

The chase cards are built around the two shows' rival machines. ZZ Gundam and pilot Judau Ashta lead the ZZ side of the Argama's running battle against Neo Zeon, joined by Elpeo Ple and her Qubeley Mk-II, Mashymre Cello, Roux Louka, Hamma-Hamma, and R-Jarja. The 0083 half pairs the Gundam GP01Fb with Federation pilot Kou Uraki and the nuclear-armed Gundam GP02A with Delaz Fleet ace Anavel Gato — a theft that sets off a desperate chase across Earth and space. Both rival Gundams arrive as Legend Rares, the set's top rarity, and the two previewed so far — GD06-001 Gundam GP01 Full Burnern and GD06-033 ZZ Gundam — are the lead suits of their respective shows. The 0083 roster also breaks out deeper support machines: Powered GM, GM Cannon II, Xamel, and Val Walo all make the list. It is a smart lineup: 0083 slots between the original Gundam and Zeta on the Universal Century timeline, and the Uraki-Gato rivalry is one of the franchise's best.

The set runs to 135 card types plus 8 tokens: 50 Common, 36 Uncommon, 32 Rare, 12 Legend Rare, 5 Special, and 8 Token. English packs hold 12 cards at a $4.99 MSRP; Japanese packs hold 6 at ¥250. Support for older favourites — Infinite Justice Gundam, GQuuuuuuX, Turn X, and Wing Gundam Zero (EW) among them — is sprinkled through the set, so existing decks pick up new options too.

Want to play on release day? Official release events run October 30 through November 8 at participating stores. The format is sealed: open four packs, build a deck of exactly 30 cards — no color restrictions, no limits on repeats — and go. Every participant takes home GD06-029 Elpeo Ple's Qubeley Mk-II and GD06-084 Elpeo Ple as promos, with winners scoring extra sets. Registration runs through the BANDAI TCG+ app, so set that up before you head to the shop.

Stardust Trails is the follow-up to July's Freedom Ascension [GD05], the game's first-anniversary booster headlined by Strike Freedom Gundam. Bandai is already looking past it, too: the SEED-focused Extra Booster, Cosmic Crisis [EB02], is due February 26, 2027. For now, the GD06 card list is live on the official site — great reading if your pre-order is locked in, and a convincing argument if you are still deciding. ZZ and 0083 fans have waited years for this. The wait ends October 30.
