Stardust Trails [GD06] Brings ZZ Gundam and 0083: Stardust Memory to the Gundam Card Game

October 21, 2026

Next week sees the Gundam Card Game's sixth main booster hit shelves. Stardust Trails [GD06] launches October 30 in the US, UK, and Europe, with Japan and Asia following on October 31 — and it marks the first time two Universal Century series join the game: Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ and Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory.

The timing is deliberate. ZZ Gundam turns 40 this year, 0083 turns 35, and Bandai has effectively turned the whole set into a double-anniversary tribute. For UC purists who have been waiting since launch for Judau Ashta, Elpeo Ple, and the rest of that gloriously chaotic Neo Zeon-era roster to get cards, this is the booster that finally delivers.

The full card list is out, and it is a chunky one: 135 card types plus eight tokens, sorted into 50 Commons, 36 Uncommons, 32 Rares, 12 Legend Rares, and five Specials.

Three Legend Rares anchor the set. ZZ Gundam leads — Judau's combining Gundam comes with an AEUG-trait ability that spreads damage across multiple opposing units when it deploys. On the 0083 flank, the OVA's central rivalry is recreated: Gundam GP01Fb, tied to Federation test pilot Kou Uraki, faces the nuclear-armed Gundam GP02A, tied to Delaz Fleet ace Anavel Gato. Support comes from the rest of both casts — the GP01, Powered GM, GM Custom, GM Cannon II, Xamel, and Val Walo on one side, with Elpeo Ple, her Qubeley Mk-II, and Mashymre Cello on the other.

It is not a pure-UC set, though. Seeded through the 135 are picks from Gundam SEED Destiny, GQuuuuuuX, Turn A, Iron-Blooded Orphans, Endless Waltz, and Char's Counterattack: the Infinite Justice, Turn X, Gundam Bael, Sandrock Custom, Wing Gundam Zero (EW), and Shining Gundam (Meikyo Shisui), among others. Existing deck builders get fresh options rather than a box of strangers.

Launch week is busy. Official release events run at participating stores from October 30 through November 8 in a sealed format: open four packs, build a deck of exactly 30 cards, ignore color restrictions, and play as many copies of a card number as you want. Cutting 48 cards down to 30 makes for a scrappy, casual weekend. Spots are registered through the BANDAI TCG+ app, and every participant receives commemorative Elpeo Ple and Qubeley Mk-II promos, with extra sets going to winners.

Pricing keeps the usual split: $4.99 per 12-card pack in the US, roughly £3.75 in the UK, and 250 yen per six-card pack in Japan.

Stardust Trails lands barely three months after the first-anniversary set, Freedom Ascension [GD05], shipped in July. Two anniversary tributes in a single quarter — and a booster built around the two UC shows fans have asked for most — make this the most interesting Gundam Card Game release of the fall. Call your local store and book a seat for a release-event sealed while you can.
