Digimon TCG Winter 2026-2027 Roadmap: EX-14 Malevolent VII, the Alysion Starter Decks, and BT-27 Ignition of X

October 06, 2026

If you follow Digimon TCG releases, the next few months read like a wish list come true. Bandai has mapped out a winter that drags the Seven Great Demon Lords back into the spotlight, gives the Digimon Alysion anime its own pair of starter decks, and leans hard into the X-Antibody — all before winter is out. Here is the roadmap as confirmed so far.

BT-27 Ignition of X — December 2026

The season kicks off with the X-Antibody booster, Ignition of X [BT-27], releasing December 2026. As the name suggests, the set brings back the X-Antibody Digimon that fans love, and per the official site it reintroduces the "Dual Cards" gameplay that lets a single card flex between a Digimon and an Option. Expect the royal-knights crowd and X-Antibody enthusiasts to have plenty to build with here. As of the current set, details like exact card lists and ratios are best confirmed closer to release.

ST-25 and ST-26 — The Alysion Starter Decks, December 2026

Alongside BT-27, December brings two starter decks built around the Digimon Alysion anime series: ST-25 Digimon Alysion Rubeusdramon and ST-26 Digimon Alysion Yukinamon. Each deck packs a playable core rather than a single stacked leader: a 54-card deck made up of 17 different cards, two playsheets, a Digimon Alysion redemption code, and one booster pack of BT-27 Ignition of X to pull you into the new set. Fan-forum reporting from withthewill.net dates the regional releases around December 4-5, 2026 — treat those specific days as reported rather than confirmed.

EX-14 Malevolent VII — January 2027

Then the big one. Extra Booster Malevolent VII [EX-14] hits stores in January 2027, and Bandai is not hiding its theme. The official English account confirms "the line-up focuses on the Seven Great Demon Lords," and we have already seen fresh illustrations for the likes of Leviamon and Lilithmon. For devotees of purple and dark decks, this is shaping up as the set of the winter — a full return for the Demon Lords in the new booster era.

What to keep an eye on

Stacked this way, the winter read like a loop: BT-27 sets the X-Antibody stage in December, the Alysion decks ease newcomers in alongside it, and EX-14 closes the arc in January by pulling the Demon Lords back to center. Prices, card counts, and full reveals are still rolling out — check back or the official news page as each launch gets closer.
