The Royal Knights are finally getting their own stage. EXTRA BOOSTER PACK DIGIMON CARD GAME CHIVALROUS XIII [EX-13] arrives October 2, 2026 at an MSRP of 4.99 USD per pack, and it's built around one idea: every one of the 13 Royal Knights gets a deck worth building.
A set for all thirteen
Where past sets gave a Royal Knight or two their moment, EX-13 spreads the love. The official product page walks through dedicated support for Omnimon, Alphamon, UlforceVeedramon, Magnamon, LordKnightmon, Gallantmon, Dynasmon, Craniamon, Kentaurosmon, Leopardmon, Examon, Gankoomon, and Jesmon — each with its own strategy and signature Tamer.
A few highlights straight from the official deck spotlights:
- Omnimon & Alphamon lean into DNA digivolution and back-to-back digivolution chains, with Nokia Shiramine helping Omnimon dodge removal.
- UlforceVeedramon pairs with Rina Shinomiya, who can pull the powerful knight into play.
- Magnamon swings up its own DP while shrinking opponents', and digivolves through Veemon via Assembly.
- Dynasmon trashes security and dominates with massive DP; Craniamon stacks Blockers and inherited protection.
- Kentaurosmon can fire during your opponent's Counter Timing, while Leopardmon swarms the board and Examon uses Assembly into Breakdramon and Slayerdramon for a DNA digivolution finisher.
- Jesmon & Gankoomon unlock the awakened dual forms of the Sistermon sisters for one decisive assault.
Gold-glow alternate arts and Secret Rares
Each of the 13 Royal Knights gets an alternate-art version with a special finish that glows gold — the chase cards collectors will be hunting. The set's two Secret Rares are the headline pulls: Imperialdramon: Paladin Mode and Omnimon: Merciful Mode. Merciful Mode attacks without suspending and scales with the number of colors among your Digimon and Tamers; Paladin Mode's battle compares digivolution cards rather than DP, so no Digimon is too big to cut down.
What's in the box
EX-13 holds 81 card types across Common (22), Uncommon (20), Rare (18), Super Rare (12), Ultimate Rare (3), Secret Rare (2), and Special Card (4) rarities, plus alternate-art versions. Each pack has 12 cards; each box has 24 packs.
