Digimon Card Game seems to take a breath after every big booster, but the calendar for this winter is already filling up. Fresh off the debut of BOOSTER TIMELESS BONDS [BT-26] (out since early September 2026), Bandai has officially confirmed the next wave, and it's a nostalgic one: the X Antibody is getting a full booster of its own.
BT-27 IGNITION OF X — the X Antibody booster
The headliner is BOOSTER IGNITION OF X [BT-27], officially scheduled for December 2026 and themed around Digimon powered up by the X Antibody. According to the official English account, it "includes a number of X Antibody Digimon, as well as support for EXTRA BOOSTER CHIVALROUS XIII [EX-13]." Early reveal streams and press already showed preview art including Craniamon X, Thundermon X, NightChiropmon and JumboGamemon — treat these as first-looks at the set, not the full card list, which hasn't been finalized.
If you've only followed the TCG for a couple of sets, the X Antibody is a returning theme, not a brand-new one. The card game already carries X Antibody support — there's even an option card literally named X Antibody (BT9-109) — and the treatment traces back to the earlier Digital Monster Card Game, where X Antibody Digimon were marked by a distinctive red frame. In TCG rules, an X Antibody card sitting in a Digimon's digivolution stack is treated specially, so this is a theme with mechanical weight behind the nostalgia.

EX-14 MALEVOLENT VII — the Seven Great Demon Lords
Directly on the booster's heels is EXTRA BOOSTER MALEVOLENT VII [EX-14], officially confirmed for a January 2027 window and built around the recurring Seven Great Demon Lords — the franchise's iconic villain lineup. Since EX sets arrive at a separate cadence from the main BT line, this is a good signal that villain-focused players will have something to reach for right as the year turns. Its schedule is only a window for now, so hedge any specifics.
Two Alysion starter decks
Rounding out the wave, Bandai confirmed STARTER DECK DIGIMON ALYSION Rubeusdramon [ST-25] and STARTER DECK DIGIMON ALYSION Yukinamon [ST-26], both scheduled for December 2026 and featuring characters from the Digimon Alysion brand line. Starter decks are a natural on-ramp if the X Antibody hype pulls in first-time buyers — you can grab a ready-to-play deck and build up from there.
